Connect Portend to your AI

Portend has no chatbot of its own — instead, it plugs into the AI you already use. Connect once and your assistant can log predictions, revise your odds as your view shifts, and check your calibration with you.

Your connector URL

1

Have a Portend account

Sign in to Portend — with Google or email — and that same account is what you'll approve access with. Create your account first →

2

Add the connector in your AI

Claude (claude.ai, desktop, or mobile)

Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL above, and click Add. Then enable it in any chat from the + menu.

Other assistants

Any client that supports remote MCP connectors works — look for "connectors," "integrations," or "MCP servers" in its settings and paste the same URL.

3

Approve access

Your AI will open a Portend authorization page. Sign in with the same account and click Approve. That's it — your assistant only ever sees your predictions, and you can revoke access from your AI's connector settings anytime.

Then try asking

  • "Log a prediction: 70% chance I ship the redesign by end of Q3"
  • "What predictions are due for judging?"
  • "I've changed my mind — bump my odds on the election to 55%"
  • "How's my calibration? Where am I overconfident?"

Tip: in Claude, the connector also adds ready-made prompts — look for Capture a prediction and Calibration review in the + menu.
